Mahjong Lounge is a calm browser Mahjong solitaire game using the traditional free-tile rule: a tile needs no tile above it and at least one open horizontal side. Match two compatible free tiles to expose the next layer. Thirty deterministic 144-tile layouts, Relaxed, Classic, Speed, and Daily modes, keyboard-accessible buttons, and non-destructive hints make it easy to play without a download.
PLAY
A tile can look visible without actually being free. The important cues are the layers above it and whether the left or right side is open at the same level. Free tiles are brighter and interactive, while blocked pieces remain visibly part of the stack. Flowers can match other flowers and seasons can match other seasons, matching the familiar solitaire convention.
Mahjong Lounge is intentionally slower than the other BopBits titles, but each match still creates a small readable change in the board. The deterministic layouts mean a stuck position can be understood and improved, while Relaxed mode removes time pressure completely. Classic, Speed, and Daily modes add goals for repeat play without changing the underlying free-tile rules or turning hints into automatic moves.
