What is Draw Rescue?

Draw Rescue is a draw-to-protect physics puzzle where one line can decide the whole round. Use a limited amount of ink to build a shelter around the character, then let the hazard sequence play out. Strong shapes, stable anchors, and enough clearance matter more than drawing a large barrier, so compact solutions usually work best.

How to play Draw Rescue

  1. Press and drag to draw the protective line.
  2. Stay within the available ink budget.
  3. Release and let the physics simulation test your shelter.

Tips

  • Short arches are usually safer than long flat roofs.
  • Anchor your line against stable surfaces when possible.
  • Leave enough space so bounced hazards cannot reach the character.

What to notice on your first run

Treat the available ink as a structural constraint, not just a drawing limit. A compact line that braces against stable surfaces can protect more reliably than a large shape with weak contact points. Leave clearance around the character, because a barrier that survives the first impact can still bend or redirect a hazard into the protected area if the geometry is too tight.

Why this mechanic works in a short session

The puzzle asks for one understandable decision — where to place the protective line — and then lets the physics simulation expose the quality of that decision. The feedback is visual and immediate, so a retry can focus on one change such as a stronger anchor, a shorter span, or more clearance instead of starting from an opaque rule set.
