You play the Stage Manager, a capybara who runs a small open-air concert: a ticket booth by the entrance, rows of benches, a stage with a bongo capy already drumming, and lanterns waiting to be lit. Rabbit, frog, otter and duck guests walk up the pier, queue at the booth, take a seat and enjoy the show while the band plays on.
How to play Bop Capy Concert
Walk behind the ticket counter to stamp tickets for the guest at the front of the line, who then goes through the entry gate. Each sale drops coins into the cash cart; walk up to it to collect them. Guests who are enjoying the music also leave tips, which land in a second tray beside the seating. Stand still on a glowing build pad to pay coins into it (walking across one never spends, and coins you have paid in stay in the pad if you step off) and the venue changes in front of you: a new bench, a Marimba Capy, a Ukulele Capy, lanterns, flower boxes.
A song that grows with the venue
Every musician you recruit adds a new instrument layer to the song, so you hear the venue grow as well as see it. Stage lights bring the bass in, and the Festival Stage lifts the whole show. A bigger song draws a bigger crowd, which means a longer queue and more coins. Once the band is complete, a Headliner Capy takes the mic and adds the vocal line. An Usher Capy can take over the booth once you have felt the line yourself.
Grow the venue
Polished and then cushioned benches make every guest tip more. The VIP Lounge brings VIP guests who pay more and sit on loveseats, and later cabanas, facing the stage. The Pier Terrace adds seats and a vendor row: guests on their way out stop at the merch stand, the drink cart and the popcorn stall, and each stall keeps its own tray for you to collect.
